Content that includes real data, real case studies, real opinions from people with real credentials — this is what Google is trying to surface. "AI agency that managed $102M in client revenue" is a differentiator. A generic "AI is changing business" think-piece is not.
Technical Excellence as Table Stakes
Core Web Vitals, crawlability, schema markup, and site architecture are table stakes now. You can't win on content alone if your technical foundation is broken. But technical excellence alone doesn't rank you either.
Programmatic + Editorial Hybrid
The best-performing content strategies use AI for research, brief-generation, first drafts, and optimization — and humans for editorial judgment, expertise injection, and quality assurance. Pure AI content is penalized. Pure human content at scale is impractical. The hybrid model is the competitive advantage.
